Here are various white plastic gears which are a tight friction fit onto the 2mm steel shafts shown or standard 2mm miniature electric motor shafts. The higher quantity in pack options are cheaper for each item. If you would like to mix items in a pack, please use the MIX options and add a note to the purchase with your requirements or send me a site message. The material is high impact polystyrene. All of the parts shown on this listing will interlock correctly. Here is a summary of the actual measurements taken on one sample.
Cog thickness is the thickness of the actual wheel part. Total height is the thickness of the cog plus the central raised part or smaller toothed wheel where present. MOD=0.5. One turn on a worm will cause an interlocking toothed wheel to move by one tooth. This allows large gear reduction ratios.
The 75mm shaft is stainless steel. The 150mm shaft is copper plated steel.
