This is one item of new, 4000 series logic device from Texas Instruments. The B suffix indicates the buffered output version. The UB types are unbuffered. The E suffix indicates the DIL/DIP package with legs on. The CD prefix is currently used by Texas Instruments so a CD4012BE is the current replacement for what may be marked as 4012B. The higher quantity packs are cheaper per item. If you would like to mix types in a pack, please use the MIX option and send me a site message with your requirements from the available devices, or attach a note to your purchase.
The 4069UBE is available which can be biassed-up into a linear amplifier mode. That allows you to play a variety of electronic tricks. You can see some of those by searching for "PWM Logic Based Low Power MW AM Transmitter"
