This is a used air spaced variable capacitor recovered from a 1960's transistor radio. It has been tested for shorts and the maximum capacitance value of each section. You can use this to tune crystal set radios and LW / MW AM receiving loop antennas. The mounting bolts and pointer. The 5:1 reduction drive turning shaft is a one quarter inch 6.35mm D shaped type with a total length of 32mm.
