This is a used ferrite rod aerial recovered from a 1960's Philips "All Transistor" transistor radio. It has MW and LW coils wound in Litz wire. Rarely found in the USA with the longwave coil, I can actually ship there, packed as if it's made of fine antique glass. Get some transatlantic LF DX in before Radio 4 198 KHz. longwave transmitting from Droitwich burns out the last of their 500kW valve pairs :)
