Speaker 8 or 64 Ohm in Paper or Mylar Cone 66mm Ferrite Magnet Louspeaker

This is one item of 0.5 Watt standard 66mm diameter speaker such as you might see in a small transistor radio. The height is just 17mm making them quite slim. Four types are available with 8 or 64 Ohm impedance voice coils and paper or mylar plastic cones. The mylar cone types are often seen in outdoor intercom boxes where they are more moisture resistant than the paper cone variety. The 64 Ohm types can be useful when you want to make some noise from an electronic project that doesn't have a proper output driver stage, perhaps just logic chip outputs.

These are not wide-range Hi-Fi drivers, but they do sound better than tinny little mobile phone speakers, especially when some effort is made with the enclosure. For example you can play various enclosure tricks by mounting them in the end of empty pringles tubes.
