This is one item of metallised polyester film capacitor in most E6 values from 10nF to 1uF. The working DC voltage is listed in each variation. This is a maximum rating so if, for example, you need a 15nF 250V d.c. or lower capacitor, a 400V d.c. one will be just as good. The capacitance tolerance is 10%.
These make good replacements for the old Mullard C280 multi-coloured capacitors where the wires have dropped off and are used in many audio coupling and filtering applications. You'll also see them in some guitar pickup and tone controls. The 400V rated parts will withstand constant or accidental connection to 300V valve radio H.T. supply voltages and so make good modern replacements for old grim capacitors in valve sets or amplifiers. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C and these parts are RoHS compliant. The manufacturer is Vishay.
