Switched Potentiometer T18 Splined Shaft Solder Lugs Rear Switch B10K

This is one item of new, single gang, mono, linear taper, carbon track potentiometer. These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The T18 split splined shaft is 6mm diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. There are three solder lugs connected to the pot element at the bottom. On the rear face there are two solder lugs for wire connections which are connected to the closing contact switch element. The two switch contacts at the rear close when the shaft is rotated beyond the fully anticlockwise position. The manufacturer is Alpha Taiwan.
The "B" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a linear audio track taper. The max power rating of the resistive track is 0.1W. The track tolerance is 20%. The switch is intended for battery powered type applications with a maximum rating of 18 V.D.C., 0.5A.
The total shaft length is 17mm where the threaded collar length is 6mm and the turning part is 11mm. The total projection behind the panel including switch lugs is 15mm.
If you have a pot with a track label of B103, this is a B10K where 3 is the number of zeros after 10 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 or 4.7K etc. Sometimes the "B" label is placed at the end as a suffix, e.g. 10KB.
