This is one item of new control knob with an ordinary flat-bladed grub screw fixing. All sizes are suitable for metric 6.0mm round shafts on electronic controls such as antenna tuning units, radio tuning and volume controls, guitar amps, valve amps, analogue synth controls etc. They also fit well on the 6.0mm D-shaft pots, and 6.0mm splined shaft pots, better than the knob types designed for the 6.3mm 1/4inch shafts. These metric types will not fit on true one-quarter inch 6.3mm shafts. When attaching to a split shaft type, take care to either set the screw into the split, or the split shaft may bend or break.
The large ones are a good size allowing easy control of stiffer shafts with the extra leverage. They also make a good replacement for some broken cooker or gas barbecue knobs.
The material is phenolic resin with a steel metal insert in the centre. The grub screws are brass and can be tightened with an ordinary 2mm, for the smallest type, or 3mm flat blade radio screwdriver.
