The Defunct HJW Electronics pattern.usefulcomponents.com Home Page




This subdomain of usefulcomponents.com was used for HJW Electronics "Pattern by Etsy," listings. Etsy are still touting Pattern, where you can send versions of your Etsy listings to your own subdomain, and hence monitor clicks and indexing via google search console. Updates to the listings failed to appear, the coding was outdated, and an Etsy support operative recently let slip that, "Pattern is a legacy product with no support or updates." This is not surprising, as Pattern was effectively competing with Etsy, so they instituted what to me looked like deliberate sabotage, not least temporarily suspending my entire account for completely incorrect reasons.

Great! 18 months of effort wasted. I may try some redirects to save what google indexing did finally start to occur.

My new attempt at some proper sales pages for vintage and all my other items is now at shop.usefulcomponents.com
