Fair-Rite Ferrite EMI EMC Suppression Beads, 3.55 x 1.65 x 5.95mm, # 43 Material.
This is one item of ferrite bead from Fair-Rite for adding low Q impedance to transistor legs and wires, for high frequency resonance damping and emc suppression. The impedance (Z) figures are given for a single turn, i.e. the wire going through the bead once. The following table summarizes the properties:

The impedance added increases approximately with the square of the number of turns. So, passing the same wire through the bead twice would add four times 31 Ohms at 25 MHz, and this would appear to be mostly resistive when tested on a complex impedance analyser. Using moderately fine enameled copper wire, you can fit seven or more turns on, making them useful down at lower frequencies too. They really are incredibly helpful in both receivers and transmitter PA strips.
