This is a pack of 1, 5, or 10 items of new control knob which has a 9mm external diameter shaft extension which is intended to go through a slightly larger panel hole, there to fit onto a potentiometer shaft internal to the equipment. This is the case with a lot of mixers and amplifiers where the pots are vertically PCB mounted rather than fixed to the front panel with a nut. The extension shaft is 22mm long from the bottom of the knob. The total length of shaft which can be accommodated internal to the knob and extension shaft is approximately 30mm.
The height of the knob above the panel is 13mm and the skirt diameter is 22mm. The material is ABS plastic. The locating rib that locks into the splines extends all the way into the actual knob, so if you need a shorter extension it is easy enough to hacksaw off the excess length and still have a working item. There is no dot or pointer. The auxiliary pictures show a typical pot fitting. The pot is not included.
