Bipolar Non Polar Electrolytic Capacitors Reversible NP Cap Various Values

This is one item of non-polar electrolytic capacitor. They are used in situations where the polarity of the applied voltage may be reversed briefly or for a long time. This happens in loudspeaker crossover networks and sometimes in low frequency audio coupling, filtering and d.c. blocking situations, especially in +/- dual rail designs.

The voltage ratings are maximums. If you need to replace a capacitor with a lower voltage marked on it, then a higher voltage rated capacitor will do just fine.
